It is the year 2050. The Earth is divided into three types of zones: Green Zones with low Tiberium contamination, Yellow Zones — moderately contaminated, suffering frequent ion storms and yet containing more than half of the planet’s population, and Red Zones, where Tiberium rules unchecked: the air is unfit to breathe, ion storms never cease, and winds at the borders with Yellow Zones can tear flesh from bone. Red Zones are rapidly expanding, and the cause is currently unknown. If the process is not stopped, the planet will become entirely uninhabitable.
Each of the three factions has a developed lore and a distinct playstyle:
GDI operates predominantly from the air — from command ships that inherit the Kodiak tradition, and from the Philadelphia station, protected by an extended network of ASAT nodes. In combat GDI relies on heavy hardware — the Mammoth Tank and the Disruptor are slow but both absorb and deal heavy damage. The faction is effective on the offensive, but concedes to Nod in defense due to the lack of an Obelisk equivalent.
Nod is based in the Temple in Sarajevo and relies on mobile command machines like the Montauk. The faction’s tactics are guerrilla: stealth tanks, invisible infantry, and mobile cloaking generators. Units are fast and maneuverable, though they lack the raw firepower of their opponents. Contrary to expectations, Nod has not abandoned cyborgs — cybernetic enhancements are now found even among regular infantry.
The Scrin remain the most enigmatic faction. According to Tacitus’ data, they are a species dependent on Tiberium for survival: they sow it on planets, wait for civilizations to be destroyed, and then harvest the crystal yield. Scrin presence on Earth is not officially confirmed, but reports of unidentified objects and alien creatures appearing near Red Zones are becoming increasingly frequent.
Tiberian Apocalypse combines the atmosphere of the classic Tiberian Sun series with the capabilities of the C&C3 engine, offering new units, buildings, and weapons for all factions. Textures and visual effects are high-quality, as is the balance between factions.
How to install a mod Tiberian Apocalypse
Open File Explorer and navigate to Documents, find and open the folder "Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars". Inside it there should be a "Mods" folder. If it is not there, create it. As a rule, it is created automatically on the first launch of the game.
Move the folder "TibApo" from the archive into the "Mods" folder.
Create a shortcut to CNC3.exe, open its properties and add -ui to the target field so that the game launches through the launcher. The result should look something like this: D:\Games\Command and Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars\CNC3.exe" -ui
Alternative method: go to the game properties in your Steam and write -ui in the launch options.
Launch the game using the shortcut or through Steam.
The launcher will open — go to the "Game Browser" menu, then the "Mods" tab, select the mod there and click "Launch Game".
Play!
