CNC Fallout is a total conversion of C&C 3: Tiberium Wars that transports the game into an alternate history world where the Soviet Union never collapsed. Three unique factions — NATO, the Soviet Union, and Australia — wage World War III. 66 new units, powerful superweapons, real-world locations, and a completely overhauled gameplay experience.

CNC Fallout presents an alternate history built around one pivotal question: what if Mikhail Gorbachev had been assassinated in 1988? The USSR never dissolves, the Cold War escalates into open conflict, and in 2009 World War III begins: Soviet forces invade northern Australia through Papua New Guinea while simultaneously pressing the western front in Europe.
The mod completely replaces all content from the original game, introducing three distinctive factions:
NATO is the most technologically advanced side, built around plasma weaponry. Its arsenal ranges from the classic M1A2 Abrams and Humvee to the hovering Plasma Assault Craft and the colossal walking robot Liberty Assault Walker.
The Soviet Union commands millions of conscripts, heavy armor including the T-90, nuclear weapons, and enormous death dirigibles.
Australia fields a highly mobile army focused on hit-and-run tactics, powerful artillery, and well-fortified bases — the result of a sweeping rearmament following victory in the Australasian War with NATO support.
Gameplay is fast-paced and oriented toward immediate combat engagement. Players have access to 66 new units blending real modern weapons systems with futuristic technology: plasma cannons, antimatter weapons, and cyborg infantry. Superweapons — nuclear warheads, cluster rockets, plasma pulse cannons, and Daisy Cutter bombs — deliver genuinely spectacular results: explosions are loud, large-scale, and impactful. Battles take place across real-world locations: New York, Washington, London, Paris, Moscow, Sydney, and other cities.
The visual and audio presentation is of professional quality: detailed units and structures, maps rich with distinctive touches — road signs, kangaroos on Australian plains, Aston Martin cars on an Arabian map — and a fully original soundtrack reminiscent of Red Alert 1 and 2. The main menu featuring a news video reel gives the whole thing the feel of a standalone release.
Fans of the series will find plenty of nods to the classics: the Soviet radar dome, flamethrower towers, Kirov airships, and unit death sounds from Red Alert 1. The mod is frequently compared to Red Alert 3 — the version many fans wished it had been — and in pace and style CNC Fallout sits close to C&C Generals.
