Battlefield 1943 is a mod for Battlefield 2 that fully recreates the game Battlefield 1943 on PC, originally released exclusively for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It places you at the heart of the conflict between the US Marine Corps (USMC) and the Imperial Japanese Navy, with authentic World War II weapons and vehicles.

Each faction offers three unique soldier classes with their own weapons and equipment, faithfully recreated to match the original console version. Vehicles, weaponry, and overall balance have been carefully reproduced to preserve the spirit of the classic game.
Combat takes place across four iconic maps:
Coral Sea — a naval battle in the open ocean
Guadalcanal — the jungles and beaches of the legendary island
Iwo Jima — an assault on a fortified coastline
Wake Island — a classic map known since the earliest entries in the series
How to install a mod Battlefield 2: 1943
Make sure you have a clean version of Battlefield 2.
Move the contents of the archive to the mods folder at Battlefield 2/mods/
In the mod folder, launch the [PLAY] Fullscreen.bat file.
